The clerk house – Der Turmwirt

Fine dining in the atmosphere of ancient times

The clerk house in Gudon, which hosts one of the most comfortable restaurants around Chiusa, the Turmwirt, has been constructed in 1678 by Archigrammaticus Paul Schenk. On the outer façade you will find paintings by Josephus Nussbaumer dating back to 1835, the parlour hosts mural paintings by Hugo Atzwanger (1907).

Since 1878, the Turmwirt is a traditional restaurant and hotel in the Isarco Valley, famous and loved among art aficionados and an attraction for visitors of Gudon near Chiusa in the Isarco Valley.
